Pete Langlois

With extensive accomplishments in mature businesses, start-ups and technology, Mr. Peter Langlois (Pete) offers a professional track record combining creativity and vision with business fundamentals and technology know-how. He has worked in a great number of industries and with a broad set of specialties including telecommunications, supply chain, healthcare, privacy and consent, mobile advertising, retail, and financial services.

After over a decade of network planning and design, computer systems and network sales, marketing, and consulting/professional services, Pete became involved with strategic acquisition and led one of the largest telecom network RFPs ever, with over 200 participants creating and scoring that effort over 9 months, and leading directly to a $50B corporate merger.

Later he moved into "green field" (nobody has tried it before) innovation with Sprint’s Emerging Products Group. There he worked using a Deloitte Consulting methodology to create and advance product concepts through development and investment gates, resulting in Sprint’s participation in a successful clinical trial yielding (in cooperation with many) the 2009 GSMA Application of the Year. New product concepts using voice over IP, healthcare applications, and pay-per-use on-demand information services were developed, and three patents have been granted, (eight more are pending) based on this work.

Most recently, he has developed mobile application and telecom services related to marketing, customer targeting, and information analytics (“big data”). This work led him to privacy law and best practices associated with them, and now he holds a CIPP/US (Certified Information Privacy Professional) certification.  Pete's achievements required partnership negotiations, market analysis, technical and business requirements development, RFP and bid preparation, cross-functional team coordination, financial modeling, and intellectual property/software licensing and development.
